Initial Situation
A leading product safety testing and certification organization expanded their business into Europe and Asia Pacific through acquisitions. Their IT systems were very different in each country they expanded. The company also started to provide new and diversified services across the globe and changed from a nonprofit to a for-profit entity. These major changes required a significant change to the business itself. To support that transformation, the customer implemented a new Oracle-based infrastructure and business software platform.
