Initial Situation
A global leader in the paper market put a strategy together to build a reference position in the European packaging distribution market, participating actively in the consolidation of the sector, with a focus on core markets. In order to reduce exposure to mature paper markets, the appropriate IT systems were required.
Solution
- Engaged to evaluate the appropriate ERP, Supply Chain and CRM systems
- Conducted package evaluation workshops, which resulted in selection of the most appropriate software
- Process mapping in the finance area. Developed customer specific score cards in order to support the package evaluation process
- Developed the business case model and created the functionality matrix in the Sales, Purchasing, Logistics, Payables and Cost Accounting area
